Welcome Home!

The Kansas Veteran and Family Reunion staff would like to say welcome home to all veterans from Kansas and around the nation.

The KVFR staff are resolved to carry on the traditions of the KVVFR staff. The name change is just that - a name change. The name was changed to signify a broadening of the mission of the KVVFR to include all veterans from all generations. The KVFR will still look and feel much like the reunions of prior years.

One notable exception will be the leadership. Although many of the original staff members are still very active in the planning and logistics of the reunion, several have stepped down to allow the younger generation to take lead. The new leadership hold the same values and convictions as the previous leadership, but with a younger perspective and vigor.

The KVFR staff looks forward to seeing all veterans from all generations at the 2008 Kansas Veteran and Family Reunion!

The 2008 KVFR will be held July 17, 18, 19, and 20 at Veteran's Point, El Dorado State Park, El Dorado, Kansas.
